Hey guys(and of course girls :p), remember the English essay we are supposed to write and hand in and the end of a double period lesson? I haven't finished mine and Mrs. Chong wants me to finish it up. Any comments and opinions would be a great help! :D
Here's the intro and a half of the second paragraph:
Flight. It is merely a word, yet there are so many meanings attached to it. The general meaning to it is an act of being suspended in air. For many people, the first thing that comes to mind when this word is mentioned is birds, aeroplanes, freedom or the act of flying. From a different context, it can also be used as a collective noun.
A flight of stairs -- in life. Everything we do, the decisions we make, the steps we take are like a stepping-stone in life, shaping our future. I was taught in school that to construct a house or a staircase, a planning is necessary. Then, cement, bricks and metal bars falls into place with a strong base to support the project.
Life is quite similar to the situation above. Without a plan, we wander aimlessly, doing anything and everything without reason and cause. We will be lost without a sense of direction to guide us, shrouded by mysteries and uncertainty, unable to progress even the slightest bit in life. All the precious times that have been granted to us will be of waste,
The flight through life is not without its fair share of hurdles. Sometimes, the weather might be a clear sky, ensuring a smooth journey along the way. However, encounter
During our flight coursing through the up and downs of life, we meet people from all walks of life that shapes our personalities.
The touchdown from one flight from one location to another signifies the different stages of life that all of us must experience in our life. It opens up another fresh chapter in our life, each of them essential for us to learn something new that the world has to offer. (this sentence is …)
Help is much appreciated :D

I only managed to write a paragraph, or half of it ><
The first thing we need to have is to have a strong base, to make sure the building is stable and not leaning to one side like the well-known Leaning Tower of Pisa. In my opinion, in life, having a strong base, means having friends that we can depend on. Giving us a helping hand when we are in need, giving us advices.
With it, if a tremor was to occur, the house will still be able to stand firm - stable and stout in its position, unaffected by the sudden disturbance; just like friends to us - who stretches their arm to hold us up and put us back into place if we ever fall in our lifes. (you can take this to continue if you like bro =D!)
With strong base (friends) we can relate to the building materials: bricks, cement, bars (values of life which we are able to pick up, thanks to our friends =D). Motivation, lessons, knowledge, feelings and such which we are able to achieve and make us whole. (base of house = friends) (house = us (cause we can't really stand firm and flourish to become whole without the aid of them =D).
Then when the house is completed, in goes the furnitures and the paintings which decorates the house. Thus we can relate it this way I guess =D... When we are certain of ourselves and capabilities, with our friends supporting us, we tend to feel more comfortable with them, and we share memorable memories and experiences that flourish us in our life (decorations can somehow relate to the memorable memories, without it, life is dull and gloom)
And when the home is done, the people can start to move in and stay. Just like us. When we have friends, and we share memorable times together, we are enjoying life. (living things in house, can somehow relate to us feeling life =D).
Hope it helps you bro =D! All the best!
