well...for me...there are these mood swings that change my view of the world constantly...most of the time, it's full of colours like you said.. but there are moments and spells when I can only see black.
If there is such a thing as hues of black in this world, mine would be the darkest shade anyone could ever find. Many would normally associate black with evil thoughts, such as death and fear. People always use white as the colour of the canvas, where artists create their masterpiece. However, my canvas is purely black, because this is the very first colour I encounter as I close my eyes. Only by the vivid imaginations of the mind did my imaginary world become a colourful one.
I used the colour black to block out disturbing thoughts when I wanted peace and solitude, because black also meant nothing for me, a sort of emptiness. As I perceive it, black is portrayed as the unknown. This morbid colour is often associated with the possibilities of danger lurking around the corner, waiting to prey for the fear in the corners of our hearts. But to me, everything in my mind cease to exist, and that, gives me a peace of mind.
Black is simple. There is nothing to describe black as well as the other colour white, for that, they are both special. In my mind, a darker black or lighter black does not exist.
